I currently have 21 basses. There are about 10 of them that get played regularly so I’m in the process of reducing my inventory. Most of the play and sound a bit different.For everyone out there who has, had, or plans to have more than one bass... Why?
What do / will you / have you done with them?
Do you want them to sound the same or different?
I can definitely relate to this.I like the variety. I can get bored with the same bass all the time.

I do it for different set ups and strings, different basses have different pickup arrangements and sounds. I tried to collect one or two of each type. Jazz, P, hollow body, fretless, upright. Flats or round wound strings. That sort of thing for me.For everyone out there who has, had, or plans to have more than one bass... Why?
