Will a resistor help even volume between series and parallel on 3-way mini switch?

Well...poopy.

Man, I don't have anything else to offer to retain the growl while series attenuated.

It was a simple, easy, quick solution I posted. Sometimes simple solutions work well. This one didn't LOL.

At least for folk passing thru that don't mind the higher end loss while matching parallel volume, the answer is here.

There's folk in here a whole lot better than me at this stuff. Maybe they'll stroll thru with some ideas. Then we all could learn something.

I wonder if it would help to add a small capacitor in parallel with the resistor like a treble bleed on a volume pot. You’d have to experiment to find an appropriate value.
