Well, there goes my chances of winning it. LOL
Lol, yup.
I have no desire to register with a social media site such as facebook, so I won't be winning an Overwater bass. Maybe I'll be able to win an Underwater bass instaed.

Call me paranoid, but I'm always skeptical of threads started by someone on the day they join pimping a product (or contest) and it's their sole post.

Really? You could register just to be in to win, you don't need to stay on it.
You don't want to be in with a chance just because you don't like social media sites?
Kill your profile once competition is over. Seems a bit silly
Scott Devine has been a long time member and HUGE contributor to the TB community. Not sure why he's using a new account.
+1313 on the anti-FB sentiment, et al.
I'm too much of a grownup to join the clique-esque crap I left behind in High School.
Flame if you will, but to quote an old dead friend, "better to be hated for who you are, than loved for who you're not."
In MY opinion (as the new-minority, straight white intelligent male that I am), I feel FB and the rest are one-dimensional electronic stages to act upon and present yourself for the approval of others, moments at a time. For what justification or gratification? For what POINT worth a moment of time in this universe?! Am I looked down upon by the robotic masses of blurryvisioned (but not yet quite blind-leading-the-blind) followers for not needing the constant approval of others, or because I have zero desire to share all the worthless crap about me to impress people I've invited to be "friends" in the utmost superficial definition of the word?
No thanks.. and no new free bass for me!
I'd be curious to know if I'm right: Can any FB users confirm or deny?
