Windows 10 - Whether You want it or not...

Ask yourself these questions.

Am I a criminal?

Am I a pedophile?

Am I a terrorist?

Am I an international double-not agent?

Am I a minor that is storing nude pics of myself or girlfriend in my hard drive?

Do I do work on a computer for myself or a company that is stupid enough not to hire IT guys to protect my sensitive trade secrets from corporate espionage?

Etc.

If you answered YES to any of these questions then worry very seriously about the EULA on Windows 10.

If not, nobody gives a crap about mining YOUR data beyond statistical user insight.

Sorry, I am none of those things (to my knowledge) and still prefer to keep any and all personal information (no matter how remote or trivial you or anyone else deems it)...well...personal.

Nobody gives a crap? Sorry, Chief; I'm not nobody. And I most definitely "give a crap". "So what? I've got nothing to hide" is the root cause of an awful lot of totalitarian troubles in this world - past, present, and future... But, as far as snooping around in peoples lives applies to you? You're absolutely right - I don't give a crap; and if you don't either? Well, that's on you...

Everyone mines data in this day and age, even your local grocer benefits from the data that's mined from your coupon usage patterns, I understand that and couldn't give a flip if they know which barbecue sauce i like our that I frequent talkbass.com, but backdoor access to my computer which may contain important personal information is too much considering Microsoft's past track record regarding security.

Then pull up your bootstraps and switch to Linux. No one is forcing anyone to use any Microsoft product.

CHIEF.

If you want the conveniences that are built into Windows and won't learn how to do Linux way of things, you gotta go with Windows.

You guys speak as if they owe you something.
