If you don't mind me asking, what did you use for water based color under clearcoat? I'm hoping to finish my bass in 100% water based finishes, haven't found a good source for WB colorcoat available in rattle cans or useable in a Preval sprayer. Some of the WB clearcoat materials are tintable to create opaque colors, but I have no experience with any of it.

Im working on my modulus copy and plan to wrap maple neck with carbon fiber cloth.
Question to MPU, do you recommend to fill the trussrod channel also with cf to get it more stiff?
Will insert 2 carbon rods also!

Would you be willing to share some photos and narrative of the process of molding the body and neck? I’m having a hard time envisioning the one-off body molding process. Is a plug made, then sectioned into two pieces, then molds made from them?

One-off mold was just a box made of plywood and Bondo. Inside dimensions and shape was the outside shape of the body. It was sealed with epoxy, then waxed with mold release wax several times. Two molds, one for top and one for the rest of the body.
