Winter Build Off 2020 - Air Space

Mine is not and never will be. I don't have, need or want a Facebook account.
Fear is mans greatest enemy. Knowledge allows us to use what we fear to our advantage. Facebook like everything else in this world can be used without risk if it is understood how to circumvent the threats it (or anything else) may pose. Because science!

To be fair, I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I technically started actual work on some of the components a few days ago. Assuming I actually get it done in time I would feel comfortable taking credit for a two week build. :D

This is a little embarrassing considering the theme, but I can't quite figure out what the heck to do in terms of an f-hole or other "air" design element. I've sketched and then erased about eleventy different options, to the point where the paper I drew the template on is starting to wear through. I want it to look harmonious. Maybe even on purpose. But I need to pick something pretty dang quick!

I've noticed, looking around the other builds, that there has been much more trouble with the "air" component than I'd have expected......

Mind you, some of the solutions.....

To be fair though, I'm really enjoying the challenge of this "trouble." It's a healthy kind of trouble, for sure. I feel like I could sit down and design basses all day long, just doing designs that come naturally. But those would just be whatever came out of my own brain which means they would inherently be limited.

Having an externally-imposed "constraint" like this is really rewarding because it causes me to adjust my thinking and stretch my creativity, instead of just drawing what comes easily to hand.
