Hey, I'm still looking forward to spring skiing. I'll get out once or twice next month, and I know I'll be in Breckenridge the first week of April for some skiing after a conference ends.

Yep. Right now, this is just the last few hours, and set to continue for at least 24 more...
We had a rare occurrence here in Sac the day before yesterday. I was surprised the roads were relatively accident free.

Yeah, here in Ireland we've got some real snow, and predictably, the country has almost shut down.
Our Taoiseach(prime minister) has been on TV/Radio advising the entire country to get themselves home by mid-day tomorrow, and stay there until Saturday.
For some reason, we have reacted to this with memes concerning bread shortages, with one shopping centre advising people to fatten up the kids and pets so there'll be good eating on them.
I'm still awaiting a work email telling me to stay home tomorrow...given Dublin Airport is pretty much closed anyway.
Mind you, last time we had weather this bad I actually got called in for extra shifts...as I was one of the very few tow-drivers trained and prepared to move aircraft around.

The Fingers family is currently at Disney in Florida. The weather has been nothing short if PERFECT. It has been in the high 70s to low 80s with "narry a drop" of rain the whole week. We crawl out of the pool at our resort around 8:30 each night.
However...
Back home (Eastern NC) is getting one more shot of Winter after being in the 60s and 70s for a week or so before we left. The low Saturday and Sunday night is supposed to be 33.
Honestly, a lot of stuff bloomed before we left. Some of it may be in bad shape when we return.

Yesterday we were in the mid 60'sF and tonight we are forecast to receive 4-6 inches of snow, with the Niagara area predicting a foot. Nothing to see here!

but got to get some miles on my new Blizzard Bhrama's. Breckenridge sounds great. Enjoy.
For a while i drove to Knoxville just about every week to play music. I lived in cental time zone and crossed into eastern time for the trip. I once joked with the BL that it was a four drive up and a three hour drive home. The next day he asked me in all seriousness why i only took the shortcut going home.I have a gig the 12th, so it's only three hours instead of four right?
