Winter is nearly over, but it's getting it's last bite at us with a cold day & we're expecting 2" of snow.

I think I might just go back to bed & heap on the covers.

-14C here last night and forecast is for temps to reach the low 60'F next week. All that means is that the snow that fell of Tuesday, about 6 inches, will melt before the next cold front comes by and does it's business to us!

The Bradford pear trees are already blooming here, and we have green grass in the lawn. Not much of a winter this year, but last year we still had several inches of snow on the ground at this time. Welcome to Oklahoma!

Rumor has it that most sinkholes around here are due to farmers over watering making the underground streams cave in.

The forsythia is in full bloom, some of the cherries are blooming, as are the red buds. Yeah, winter is pretty much over. Momma Nature's been doing some spring cleaning with the wind and the rain.

I threw out some grass seed this week. If it doesn't take, I'll have to follow the directions & rake the ground first, LOL.
