When i lived in south Alabama my shallow well ran dry and the guy who drilled my new well told me the water table had fallen due to farmers sinking irrigation wells.Rumor has it that most sinkholes around here are due to farmers over watering making the underground streams cave in.

Yep...it took late February/early March for us to finally get December/January weather.We had a rare occurrence here in Sac the day before yesterday. I was surprised the roads were relatively accident free.

This was out my back door at work.
The view out my bedroom window 8:35 AM - maybe 4" already - expecting 16 more hours of this:8 to 16 inches expected here tomorrow, and I doubt that's the last one we'll see this year... ...gotta get that snowblower running today...
Geez, sounds like you're in northern Ohio! LolWinter is nearly over, but it's getting it's last bite at us with a cold day & we're expecting 2" of snow.
I think I might just go back to bed & heap on the covers.
