Wireless issue...need help!

right, but copyright infringement, erm, I mean imitation is the highest form of flattery. It means the other companies are losing market share and want it back. In other words digital wireless really is the future. Competition also makes for better product development and cheaper (hopefully) prices in the future.

FWIW, I have a Line 6 Relay G90 for my rig and have been extremely happy with it. And I play 5 bangers. Build quality is very good, both for the rack unit itself and the transmitter. Only recommendation I have is ditch the cable that comes with the transmitter and get the Shure cable with the right-angle jack. Shure's cable is better built and the right-angle reduces cable stress.

well said Jimbob. Haha, I think between the two of us we made sense.

I've never had a wireless system (although most of the bands I work with do), because for me they've always been an unnecessary luxury. I generally play on small stages, and don't meander too much. Plus I've been worried about sound quality and they've always been like $600 for a decent one.

Not to derail this into a Line 6 info thread...but anybody else who has one want to comment on the sound quality, construction, etc? I notice the instrument system is only $130 online.

I'm seeing $299 (for the G30) most everywhere, I think the $130 you saw was just for a transmitter.

I posted on another thread last week about the line 6 X2 XDS95. It's digital, has the wider spectrum of frequencies and only cost me about $125. It doesn't eat through batteries, and the stomp box receiver plugs right into my onespot on my pedal board. So far I' really pleased with it, but I've only had it for a couple of weeks, so I can't really comment on durability.

yep, the XDS95 is the cheaper, $130 version. G30, G50, G90 are the upgrade.

Its cheaper now cause its discontinued. Its basically the same as the G30, just on a different freq band.
