Wireless suggestions

Once you get 30-40 ft away, the delay from the speakers to your head becomes problematic. But on the other hand, those distances are best case scenarios, and we all know that gigs are full of things that make those best case scenarios very difficult to maintain. So I'd probably go for the Line 6 as well. I'd still get the G70 :D but that doesn't sound like it's in the cards for you no matter what.
Yes, at 40 feet you hear acoustic delay (you HEAR the speed of sound). Physics, chemistry, or better food can't change that. Use IEM's on huge stages.

I went over to gc yesterday, they had a line 6 gs10 available to check out - that one has a 2.9 ms delay and only 50 ft range. The place was pretty empty so I roamed all over, around corners, etc., range was no issue with this unit.

But yeah, it felt like the delay was a bit disorienting. Maybe? I was wondering if it was just in my head, 'cause when I played via cable it felt normal.

Lemme think about timing... I have a good feel for a quarter second, that's the time between clicks on a stopwatch, like the theme to 60 Minutes on Sunday nights (I'm old), also eighth notes for quarter note equals 120 beats per second tempo. So thats 0.25 sec.

2.9 ms or 2.3 ms, let's round it to 2.5 ms is 0.0025 s, means it's about 1/100 (1%) of an eighth note at that tempo.

I guess I'm like JimmyM, that's all it takes to throw me.

I got home feeling happier with my Shure. My GAS for a wireless has subsided for now.

I’m using the new Sennheiser XSW-D Pedalboard set with pedal and integrated tuner. Works great.

I previously had the Xvive system and the Line6 G10 which both had major issues with my active basses.

Bumping this up because I might be in the market again after a second unit's battery might be giving up. It looks like as with phones every year is bringing a new cheap system just as good as if not better than the previous market leader at a third of the price. And every electronics manufacturer is jumping into the market.

For me the replacement cost as dropped below replacing cables for practicing at home. So I am getting close to saying this shape and color would look best on my bass.
