Wiring a kill (off/on) switch into stock Ibanez SRF

I have an Ibanez SRF706, which I love.. however I'd love it more if I could silence it without losing all my volume settings.
It has a neck volume, bridge volume and a piezo volume, bass and treb pots for the pups and tone for the piezo. No master volume. No wiring diagram I can find, and zero clue even where to start.
Any help or direction would be very much appreciated.

I haven't gigged with my SRF705 for quite some times, especially after I got an SRH505. It's true having 3 vol knobs (instead of a master vol) could be PITA when you have dialed your best combination and needed to mute and then returned. But, when I did, I just used my mute mode on my wireless receiver stompbox or my tuner pedal.

Adding an on board kill switch would risk introducing loud pops when it's not done right.

Any time you want to do a kill switch, all you're basically trying to do is kill the signal to something or interrupt it. The best way to do that for most bass applications would be to get an ON-ON mini switch of some sort and wire that in like this:

That isn't the only way to do it and these aren't the only switches, but the concept is the same for any of it: use a switch to interrupt a signal in the chain. Connecting to ground is a very effective and widely used way to do that.

I have forgot to switch the Bass back on a couple of times.
And although I've played about 20 years of Mardi Grad gigs, I'm still waiting for the panties to start flying.

I wouldn't wire it like that; the amplifier input is floating open while the contacts are shorting the pickup signal. Better just to put the contacts across the output jack and short it out to mute.
A SPST switch is all that's needed.

Edit: Make sure the switch housing is grounded, otherwise static discharge when reaching for the switch could cause nasty pops from the amplifier.

No, never used one. Is that a cable with a circuit breaker built in?
The Kill Switch on this G&L is a simple 2-way on-off toggle switch on the pickguard.
I used this bass when playing with a horn band that had a rather large Bass Book full of charts. Between songs, I could switch the bass off and turn pages to the next song and flip it back when ready. Let me use both hands to handle to book without worrying about the sound from banging the music stand.
