Wisdom Tooth

i had my wisdom teeth pulled in hs one year so i wouldn't have to go to the district band tryouts. i hated those auditions, they were useless.

it was worth it to The NJL to have its teeth pulled and deal with pain than to go to a dumb audition.

That's a really small root. My wisdom teeth were like that, too. No issues. Now, when I had to have a real molar removed, that was painful. I knew I was in trouble when the dentist said to his assistant " Look at that root!". Turns out it was nearly an inch long and curved. Not the whole tooth; just the root. I was loving the vicodin. hehe! Thank goodness for pain pills.

Yup, I had five Wisdom teeth. My dentist is one of my best friends dads(I liked her at the time in high school :D) so it was pretty easy. Knocked me out, which is good for me. I never did to well with dentist things.

When I got home, there was that half an hour period between the anesthetic wearing off and my dad running for the prescribed meds. He came into my room, took out both bottles, and threw one away. I was not pleased at this, but it was codine, and that stuff does some weird things to you(my dad/family have ties to the pharmaceutical industry).

I took a nap and was out with my friends by the night. :)

I have a little vicodin, but I'll probably end up not using all of it. I usually get sick of it after the fourth or fifth. (the next day usually)

Just hope he's not one of those bare minimum chords only guitarist then. I would want my dentist/guitarist to be pretty efficient and rehearsed in the ways of technical dentistry and fretboard magic.

He a great guitarist, and a great dentist, but his yanking could be a little, uh, gentlier.

I held off going to the dentist for 12 years. In that 12 years I gave up snuff and started drinking cherry coke like an alcoholic. I went to the dentist, he told me everything that needed done, and I said cool, let's do it. Then I realized that I had no vacation left so all the work had to happen within that week, since I was already off for that week, and he went ahead and did it all in 3 days. The fillings were on day 1, the root canal was day 2, and the wisdom teeth were on day 3. For the next 2 weeks I cringed at the sight of anything hot or cold. If it wasn't room temperature it wasn't going in my mouth. One time I bit down on something and it literally felt like my tooth had been struck by lightening. I was in tears.

Did you ever notice that no matter what part of the house you are in, or even whatver house you are in, or whenever the heating bill was paid last, its always It is always room temprature....
