don't look bad to me. see, wish had horrible woodworking skills. i mean, did you see the "banana bass"? this other guy looks pretty ok at what he does
Looks like very similar manufacturing processes. Basically, make a hippie sandwhich out of an unfnished neck and body halves, and then sculpt away! Quick and dirty!

IMO wish-everything is extremely not worth it.i've played a couple. all high action. no trussreods. sloppy wood work. bansaw marks along the edges of some parts. and the fingerboard felt like a shaven head.

That one doesn't look nearly as bad as some of the others. In fact, I really quite like the body shape (though I'd never play something with so many corners). And come on, it's his #100. For the prices the others go for, he's allowed to turn a profit on at least one.
These Garside Guitars look relatively (relative to Wish, that is) well-made, but quite ugly. Not ugly like a Wish though. Wishes are character-ugly, with all that down-home charm and folky goodness. These are just plain ugly.
I really want a wish. :'(

Wishes sound GREAT for the price. and they play GREAT for the price, too!

GarsideGuitars do not take the wish approach at all. The shapes are unique, but the guy spends much of his time on the aethetics (albeit WARPED aesthetics).
Wish, he doesn't care about looks...he wants bassists to get down to doin' the thing that counts...MAKING MUSIC!
