Wishbass Club Part 10 - Best Wishes

some facts about a peanut.
The reason I choose that model are based on
1)taste, it's not ordinairy but not extreme
2)not to big body, I didn't want a heavy bass
3)ergonomics
IMO there's only one disadvantage about that model. Because of light weight and small body it's a bit of a nosediver. Adjusting strapbuttonposition to counterweight that issue is needed.

i cant decide which wishbass body i like the best first i liked the peanut and hipper
now i like the arrow, lobe, and stude

Regarding ergonomics, the Arrow and Lobe body styles have the strap button the highest up of all the styles (with the possible exception of the Hipper), and the Arrow and Lobe hang on the strap (standing) in a perfect neck-rising angle with absolutely no neck dive. I went that way for the neck bracing (turned out that was not an issue even with the deeper double cutaways with Wish's huge necks), but the complete absence of neck dive was a lovely, unexpected, and VERY welcome bonus.

i wanna see some pics of a lobe because i havent seen that many because wish doesnt have it on his website

Here's my avator Lobe, which I sold recently, BTW ...

Here's what it looked like when purchased - it looks more amber colored here because of the flash and lighting actually ...

Had an idea ... If any of you guys are into Facebook, it might be fun to hook up there too. I have a bunch of photos there detailing some of my refins (kind of a poor man's web presence) if anyone wants to stop in. I am also starting a separate page there for my Wishy work called "Scott's Shoppe". PM me if you want to make a "Friend Request" and we can go from there. I'm also hoping to do a shop tour with my new video camera 'soon' and perhaps YouTube that, as well as link it on FB.

We are allready "hooked" but if any other luthians are coming hook me too!

Indeed we are! I meant to say "hooked up" - oooops ...

On another topic; I look thru Ebay every once in a while for bass guitar finger/fretboards and usually don't turn up much. A couple of weeks ago a fellow was selling two Pau Ferro bass guitar fret boards he purchased from LMI. Apparently he used to build basses but was giving it up. These 2 boards are untouched by him but each was ordered with a 12" radius and pre-slotted for 34" scale. As such, if you were to order the same boards today from LMI it would cost over $60 with shipping. I got them both for $25, shipped to my door - sweet! They are attractive and very, very nice. Not sure what I am going to put them on yet, but it will be fun figuring it out. They will made great fretted or lined fretless boards since they have no side dot positions drilled yet.

i have decided to get a wish but not get it lined which was the origiginal idea im just gonna learn unlined frettless um has wish solved the side marker problem or was just that the bridge got moved a little PS if not i might get the front part of a warwick bridge what do you all think
PPS hey 49 why are you not replying my pm's or emails
