WMD Geiger counter - share your fav settings

Since the thing has endless possibilities from slight over drive to Mario brothers bleeps and bloops, lets start this thread to share favorite settings of the beast that is the WMD Geiger counter.

Low fi semi synthie distortion (great into a Polytope or other detuner)

Wave table - 4E
Bit depth - anywhere 9 (o'clock) up to 2
Bits switch on and led red
Sample rate - 3-4 (o'clock)
Led off
Tone - disabled
Gain - 9 (oclock) and up to taste.

+1. It's a pretty unique pedal that takes a lot of time to get used to messing with. I too, just got one and am still cycling through the wave patterns. I do know that so far I prefer the tone pot enabled with the pot turned all the way down, I think it's because it doesn't have the bass mod like I was told it did. But other than that I feel like a compete noob. How much was the mod?

I much prefer it without the bass mod. For me the real strength of this pedal is the amazing high harmonics from a tweeter etc, in fact, without a tweeter I find the pedal less awesome. Having tried both a modded and unmodded side by side, the tiny loss of low end is well worth it for the stunning highs the standard one has. (modding does cap the uppers a little).

I use a clean blend on my board anyway so theres always some clean signal or a suboctave running anyway.

He did not charge for the mod, just return shipping. Great guy.

I asked him about possibly putting the "bass mod" onto a switch, or a separate input jack, so I wouldn't sacrifice the high end that pantherairsoft was talking about. He said it's possible but would probably do more harm than good because of the added components inside (would end up degrading the audio in other ways).

I didn't mess around with the pedal too much before sending it out, so I won't really be able to compare, but I'm excited nonetheless. Will report back once I get it and I'll try and add some settings to this thread to help keep it growing.

Sweet man. I'm going to mess with it as much as I can, maybe bust a small mesquite blender too. Those dangling high end artifacts may just be the charm of this avant-garde pedal. I'm still worthless in my contribution to the thread, but I'm hopin to find something neat. Isn't there a graph of all the different waves somewhere? Seems like I've heard of one existing.
