Hi man, sorry for a late reply but I missed this one earlier.Hi guys and congratulations for your W&T basses, like I said in a earlier post I think they really are awesome instruments. A question for you W&T owners: on the single cut basses (Chronos, Zoid, etc), can you obtain all the classic J-bass fenderesque sounds? I am pretty confident the bolt-on EJ series can cover the Jaco and Miller thing pretty well, what about the single-cut dual coil basses?
Last week I got some great color samples of Sergio's talented work in the mail, looks amazing doesn't it

I own a 6 string set neck (walnut body, maple neck) Chronos with Nordstrand dual coils which I can split to singles. The jazz bass is definitely there, it's a slapping monster, and the back pick-up burp too.

This is a truly outstanding bass.

I sure did, more than once. Since it's such a great looking instrument I have no problem doing it again.Hey Lenart, have you posted pics here of your bass? I would like to see that..
Agreed, I love W&T finishes. Also, you are correct about the green + orange burst. It's not your everyday combo, but considering the great aesthetic features of W&T design, I think this could be pulled off with a great success. I'll try to get someone to make a photoshoped picture of a zoid with that color combo.green + orange burst? did I read that correcttly? that sounds pretty interesting! Overall I like #3 for its richness and "emerald" quality, and 1 for its contrast factor. Sergio does great work with the finishes, mine has a very light amber stain on the poplar, and it looks gorgeous!
So what do you guys think of this piece, I just love it!

Not so keen on that. Bass manufacturers always do this - produce a Jazz model for traditionalists. It's a bit predictable.
Did'nt know it was a Thread about ..You can check photos of my Custom beast (i live close to builders) Here ,though there is not one with me pictured (it fits me so well..) ,but i'm sure you dont mind about =
