    Hey guys,
I bought a wooly mammoth a couple of months ago and at first it was fine but after a few plays it started having some weird issues. I gave it to a friend to have a look at for me and he couldn't find anything wrong with it and had a play with it at church and it worked fine (I was there, sounded great) but once I had taken it back it's playing up on me again. Anyone here have any experience with this type of thing? I couldnt figure out how to upload a video so I'm just linking to youtube.

What happens when you just go bass -> WM -> amp (no other pedals sharing power or in the signal line - even turned off)?

I'm not familiar with that bass. Is it active?

The mammoth HATES active or buffered signals. If there is an active signal or a buffered pedal in front of it mine will act very similar to yours. Spaceman pedals sometimes do the same.

Also as Ryan said shared power or non isolated power can be an issues sometimes.

I use a passive pick up emulator in front of pedal that don't like buffered or active signals

Let us know if u figure it out

    yeah the bass is active
Just tried with no other pedals in the chain and it's still the same. If it's an issue with the bass being active then that's incredibly lame for such a great sounding pedal. Guess I should have researched it more though

Yep. It's the active bass. There are a bunch of thread about it. Pick up a buffer buster or ppe and it will solve that issue

I've just recently picked up a passive P and the pedal does the same thing still. Interestingly enough if I actually dig in and play hard then there's no issue at all. Any idea what it might be?
