Worlds fastest bassist

I have his VHS instructional video someplace and a singed poster saying I was one of the first to order.
Probably one of the only ones to order but still cool.
If you're making a link between Jaco and being the fastest bassist, I do not think so. He was the greatest fretless player coming up with the most inspiring melodies he could bring to the songs or music pieces he was playing and a pleasure to the audiences to listen during live concerts. His solos were just plain genius pieces of work. That's my take on Jaco. Donna Lee or Teen Town were maybe on the speedy side of his playing but to me, that has never made me think it was the case. IMHO

Does absolutely nothing for me. Same for shredding on the guitar. I've never been impressed by how many notes someone can play in a measure. Play with feeling, play with a sense of purpose, play as if you have something to say. Apparently, this guy has never heard the phrase "less is more".
My eyes are still a little tired this morning. I thought this said the worlds fattest bassist.
I'm the world's fastest bassist. I hauled my bass in my Corvette at about 130mph.
Please, I flew back from Berlin last week with my bass and we were going over 500!
I hate to imagine how stifled a community of musicians and artists would be if all participants shared this perspective.

A lazy, conform and conservative attitude that is an obstacle to progress, in my opinion.
If everyone thought that way we would have been short of quite a few amazing bass players.
When that is said the bass player in the video that is posted in the OP doesn't exactly impress me either.
