Worship Bass Pedalboards

I added the Forest Green Mad Professor to the board and got to mess around for a while. So far I totally agree with Scuba's thoughts on the Sustain switch.

On Sat, l play around on the amp and Sunday, I will try it through the board (Church of the Highlands-Grandview Campus /aka Large church with great sound system (constantly upgraded and adding needs as they come) but not a great room for sound. Room was a large ballroom/conference center).

Lately, I have been killing them with gain (active bass plus board) and the low end is coming in solid, but muddy and they are not getting the high end and the articulations of the notes. So I am hoping by dropping the gain to about 9 O'clock and dropping bass to about 10/11 o'clock on the TH, plus make sure the Grizzly is not Grizzly. Honey using the FGC will give me some tone and better articulation. First song out of the gate is "You Are Life", we should find out quickly.

Here's my latest - that Ultra X makes the tone hammer and cp9+ pro redundant.

Thinking seriously of dropping down to a PT nano and just having the Ultra X, Octamizer, and tuner.

Ultra X has cab sim, eq, full frequency compression in blue mode, distortion/drive, headphones out and aux in. Paid the gold but my sound guy said it is straight up the absolute best I have ever sounded.

Not sure I'd feel that comfy with a pedal on my worship board that I'd have to self censor or cover up with gaffer tape.

And even if I didn't feel the need to self censor a raving double entendre named pedal or a
pedal with a goats head or naked woman graphic... I'm pretty sure that my wife would ensure it was censored right off the pedalboard and out o f the house!
I hear ya. I find a pedal I finally like the sound of, only to discover that I wouldn't really be comfortable showing off the name/graphic. Guess I could cover it up, but guaranteed, that would be the one time someone asks about my gear at church...

Winnipeg is nice. The live music scene was incredibly mature for the size of the population. Did a few (non-music) jobs there. Beautiful beach just north. Nice lake country just east.
We had the kids along so we didn't get to do much "clubbing" but did hear some "busking" at the Forks.
One of these summers we're going to get to that beach. It's supposed to be one of the best in North America.

Could always rehouse it into a new blank case, and just call it a homemade you got on eBay :D
