Just finished putting this together....
LOVE my Trex Quint!
Great looking pedalboard. I really need to tidy mine...

+1 I've tried several octave pedals (some of the favorites here - OC2, Octamizer, Micro POG, etc.) and the Quint really ends up being the best for my needs. I really love that is has a 5th up, too...plus it tracks really well too. Couldn't get some of the others to track as well sitting in the same spot on the board (right after the HPF).
So I bit the bullet, got a Tone Hammer on sale and have been really liking it so far.
I can't wait to see how it pairs with the HX Stomp on a larger board.
Haven't played out with this yet, but I have a busy weekend ahead with a few worship gigs. Will post back my thoughts!

For worship bass... if you were going to put a small (5-6 Pedals, not including tuner ) board together, what are your ABSOLUTE necessities ?
I would assume (!) preamp/di and Compressor Would be two of them ...

Maybe it’s because of the two basses I use, but I just can’t get along with a preamp on my pedalboard. My Sadowsky bass already has a great preamp in it, and my Lakland P bass doesn’t need a preamp (I’m not a fan of preamps with P basses). This is my one and only pedalboard, and it’s perfect in every setting in which I play.

The church’s DI. It’s a Mesa Subway pre/DI, but I use it in “pre EQ” setting, so it’s just functioning as a DI-only.
I suppose it also depends on what type of music you guys play. For instance, we have a pretty diverse congregation, so we could literally go from an upbeat Hezekiah Walker gospel song into a People and Song song, into an Elevation Worship song, then into a Bethel or Hillsong song.
That said, I sometimes try to cop a vibe that's as close to the original recording as possible and sometimes I don't. However, if I do decide to cop the original vibe, it'll sometimes call for the use of overdrive or fuzz. For our worship setting with such a diverse palette of songs we play, I'd say my top five would be a good pre/DI, compressor, chorus, OD, fuzz...top it off with a HPF since they were all the rage in 2019.

Just finished wiring this up Wednesday night, actually got to turn some of them on for rehearsal on Thursday!
Still a work in progress. The Nimbus is just a placeholder at the moment, waiting on some funding for an overdrive pedal to put in that spot, just needed to make sure I got the measurements right for fitting everything once the board is done. C4 also just came in, so I'm excited to get that programmed up and fit into the whole rig. Gap on the top left is getting filled with a delay or reverb once I settle on one I want and get some of the ones I'm not as much a fan of sold off.
Anyone have experience with the Afterneath? I am finding a lot of settings I love solo for fun, but just don't work in a band setting. Getting it dialed in to mix with a band, it seems a bit too...tame? Makes me feel like it's just another reverb at that point, and there are others I like the tone of better for that.

(Disclaimer: there is no need to go dig up my other posts where I said the same exact thing. I know what I am.)
I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it again . . . next week . . . but I mean it this time . . . I’m done.
Here’s why:
1) I’m broke.
2) I am out of space and this board is already heavy as sin.
3) I was going to cram one more pedal on there, but I’m officially out of power outlets on my ISO-Brick. And that includes already using two 2-way splitters and one 5-way splitter.
4) I haven’t even played outside of the house in like 10 months, and haven’t gotten paid to play in several years.
5) Without spending a significant amount of money to upgrade to something else like a Noble or Oracle, which would get me kicked out of my comfortable, climate-controlled house, I can’t imagine sounding any better than I currently do.
It’s been a fun journey. But now I can just focus on practicing. Like the good old days, before I discovered these threads. In particular the compressor and preamp threads.
Now, if this virus would just go away so I can actually play outside of the house again, that would be great.

OR...(you mentioned the board being heavy as sin) maybe break it up into smaller ‘specialty’ boards? Might keep things interesting for you? (Shouldn’t be carrying that much sin around anyway
