I’ve been using the Tone Hammer as an overdrive for a good while now and love it.

Much like @bobbybass85, I too have been working on a pedalboard upgrade. I mentioned it several posts back, but here's the (nearly) final outcome. I have a HPF on the way that may sneak its way under the board, but for now this is what I'll see from topside. There's a lot going on underneath for power, but it's pretty well organized in the event I need to get to something.

It's a Rockboard Quad 4.2 and it will live in the base of its ABS case for a quick setup and tear down. All signal cables are Mogami 2391 soldered to SquarePlug SP400 ends. The power cables are all custom made to length. Totally worth all the time and effort to custom make everything! I also included a master power switch on the right side, and a USB port on the left to get power to my iPad if I ever need it. Even though I added pedals and went up a size, I don't think I added much overall weight since the ABS case is lighter than the flight case the 4.1 lived in.

That is indeed the Hotone Bass Press. So far it looks like it will do the job well. It's very small with a short throw, and I'll likely only use it when I don't have a hand free to roll the volume on my bass. The wah feature is actually very well done and it's a flick of a switch to change the mode from volume to wah (or to expression, but I'm not using it for that). It's one of the smallest volume pedals out there and I was reluctant to go to anything bigger for space and weight concerns.

If anyone is trying to figure out how it all plugs in, I have one the their Mod 1 patch bays installed and it runs my bass and monitor signal in and out all hard wired. I've taken some notes over the last couple of years how to cleanly do everything with a cable loom, so it's pretty slick how it all comes together.

Mod 1 patchbay

A. Bass in
B. Out to Backbeat patched to back of D
C. Monitor (Aviom) in or mp3 in for practice
D. Drum monitor (second Aviom) in for Backbeat, patched to back of B
E. Ears out from Rolls

Chain goes -

Bass> CaliCB > Patch Kommander In > * PK Loops > Hotone Bass Press > TC Spark > SLO MKIIIs

Tuner out to StrobostompHD

PK Loops
1. EBS OctaBass
2. AlphaOmega
3. YYZ
4. Grand Orbiter

SLO Config -
- XLR out to Rolls preamp In
- Out to Jay Ganz Straight Ahead amp that powers an Eich Bassboard

Rolls config -
- Preamp out to back Mod 1 XLR
- Headphone out to back Mod 1 patch E (E for ears)
- Monitor in (Aviom signal) is received from back Mod 1 patch C

My cable loom consists of the signal cable, cable for my in ears, and the cable for the Backbeat
