Not taking it off the board yet or anything, but I think the REDDI may sound better without the LA-1A. Am I crazy!
I still like the LA-1A in front of my SS Genzler combo to warm it up a bit, and maybe protect it from any spikes? If I find I don't use it for DI/IEM gigs, I'll probably just keep it to use when I do amp gigs. Do a little tuner/mute (gotta have that) and LA-1A and maybe put a reverb or delay where the Rolls is now for jazz gigs and solos.

@SteveC I'm reminded reading this that the real proof is in the mains, or through really nice studio reference monitors- even really great IEMs don't really capture what's truly being heard. I try not to make too many decisions based off IEMs although the final working version will need to be a compromise between them if something sounds funky. Forgive me if you use an amp too, my comments refer to silent stages which I think you guys are (?)

I will probably hang on to it (for a while anyway) even if I don't use it on my DI/IEM rig. It sounds really nice in front of my Genzler combo amp.
Right, we are silent stage. While the proof as you say is in the mains, I find no matter what I do it sounds pretty good in the mains - or as good as it'll be. These days, any G.A.S. or tweaking is to get the IEM sound as good as I can.
Still on my quest for the next, minimal, pedalboard. Anyone using the Boss GT-1B for worship?
I always debate a multi in the back of my mind. I don't use effects much at all, so I don't want to invest heavily in them. Yet, at times it'd be nice to step on some chorus, or filter or drive for a tune here and there. And live, if it isn't the "best" it isn't quite as noticable. Yet, when I listen to these digital effects units, they just sound "fake" to me. Again, in a mix maybe not a ig deal. Or run through a really good tube DI. IDK.

What tuners are you all using? I'm looking at a mini like the Korg or TC Electronics. I have kept my Boss TU-2 for so long because I used it to power my Rolls or other effects. Now that I don't need it to power stuff, I'd like to save some space.
Debating a Sub 25 as a compromise. I don't need/understand much or the Sub 37. I think I can get by with 2 octaves. There are 16 memory spots. Plenty as I use like 3 sounds. And it's 1/2 the price of the Sub 37 and of course smaller and lighter.
TC Polytune Mini 3; specifically got the v3 because it has an always-on-no-mute mode which I use, since my volume pedal mutes the end-of-chain anyways.
Good choice...I (biased by my 37) think the a/b comparisons between the Novation and Moog tones...Moog wins—sounds much richer/thicker to my ears. The Novation is an easier schlep. But the Moog 25 is a great compromise!
I'm so torn between that and the Peterson StroboStomp HD that I can't seem to order either one.
I own the Peterson Strobo HD, TC Polytune Mini and Korg Blackout Mini and they are all great but one of my TC mini's had a bad footswitch and it was impossible to get it repaired under warranty. I'm done with TC as a brand for that reason.
The Korg is cool because it can run on a couple of those 2032 coin type batteries and is convenient if you just want to carry a tuner. The TC Poly requires a power supply, the Strobo HD can use a 9V battery or power supply, it also has an additional convenience outlet to connect another 9V effect.
I use the Peterson HD to setup and critically intonate my basses at home, but it's a little large if you are trying to save space on your board. Their Clip on strobe is great and has all of the sweetened tuining too, I use it on my upright bass.
But, if you are just tuning and that's it, practically anything will do. I also use the KLIQ because it has a great display, is accurate and it's cheap.

I just re-did mine with a TC Spectra-Drive. I don't use any envelope/delay/octave, etc, so this worked out perfect. Chain goes:
Polytune3 - Thumpinator - 4-knob TC Spark Booster Pedal - Spectra Drive.
I turned off the buffer on the polytune 3 because the spectra drive has that same bon-a-fied buffer circuit in it already. Maybe it's just in my head, but I think it sounds better without a buffer on each end of the pedalboard.
The Spectra Drive has the MultibandMixBooster loaded up for the compressor and
the Clean Boost loaded up for the drive.
I can get this really great overdrive thing going if I load up the gain on the Spark booster and then add more using the clean boost tone print on the spectra drive.
Really digging this setup, but one thing; If I have 3 TC pedals on my board, do I qualify for some kind of an endorsement?
