Worship Bass Pedalboards

Picked up a Temple Audio board!

I'm a little sad to see my homemade pedalboard get the axe, but this one allows me to fit everything in the board and then some extra. Really love the ability to cleanly route everything in this! Had a non-church gig with it last night and was not disappointed!

Are you using the MS60b as a "tone in a box" always on? Or for occasional modulation? I use mine and a DI box usually but have thought about picking up another, or the B3n or even using the Ms 60-b as the tone/ always on and then separate fuzz, OD, chorus and octave as on/ off stomps.

For years I ran a board with an MS60B into a B3N, and had all the tones I could need. And super easy to program!

The red is NICE looking. The signature is a great model. That and the Grand touring were off the list- my wife could NOT stand the heads- up display. And once she saw the Polymetal blue exterior WITH the red leather interior in the Carbon Edition in person, there was no other one for her.

It's an always on pedal for me. Usually just eq or amp sim, sometimes using the Bass Squeak or a fuzz off I want a texture other than the B3k. I've never found a multi-effect that I like the octaves in, and the MXR has been rocksolid forever.

The Carbon Edition is really nice. I am actually looking at the GT with the extra packages that pretty much make it a Signature, like 2nd row bucket seats. I love the heads-up display.

I thought all 3 top tier packages were great for different reasons. We wanted the bucket seats without the console in between to make access to the 3rd row (which IS tiny) easier. It works for my wife- the Cheer Coach and works for us to take trips and carry plenty of cargo with the last row folded down. Love the extra storage place in the back under everything too. I liked the HUD also- wife being only 5'0" did not! lol. To be honest, I would go back to manual everything with 2 exceptions- locks and cruise control. Give me ac, a stick, plenty of room and some reliability and I am happy. But all of that is LONG wait time special order IF you can get it. I do like Apple Car Play. And I dont hate the heated and cooled seats in the 9!

I estimate I could easily fit a 4x10 in the cargo area but don't own one and we run IEM at church. (There - on topic)

I want the 2nd row buckets so the dog can lay between the kids on trips. If the 2nd row center console was REMOVABLE, then I'd just go signature. I do like Apple CarPlay. I also like that it isn't all touch screen. The "knob" is actually easier on the road once you get used to it. Just like my Audi.

Agree and didn't think i was going to like the control knob but it's so much easier while driving- and no smudges to clean off the screen lol!

i have a '02 corvette with a heads up display projected onto the wind shield. I can't fathom why this isn't standard on all cars now. Being able to see your speed and gas without taking your eyes off the road is really nice.

Just an interesting observation, but I have found recently that I prefer a direct sound with just a bass plugged into an audio interface when I'm at home, but I dislike the tone when I play at church. I can see all signal processing in the mixer, and everything is set flat. The bass sounds terrible like this. With a little tweaking, I can get a much better sound with the Boss GT1B. Anyone else have this problem?

On our main campus the bass is not high enough in the Aviom channels for me to hear it above the drums that have a cage that no longer closes in the back. I feed my own audio to myself before the di to the house so I can control my volume in my IEMs better. On our satellite campus it is better for the last 2 weeks when we changed the XLR connection to the board to a line input and bypassed the mic preamp. Now I can hear myself in the Aviom mix there but I keep the Rolls set up for when I play on the main campus.
