Digital octave tends to be cleaner than analog. I currently run a Trex Quint and it's very very clean, almost unnaturally so. Not expensive anymore, either. See if you can find one to try out!

Over the last few years I've moved back and forth between digital and analog pedals and this seems to be giving me the best of both worlds. It has the flexibility to go hybrid between bass and acoustic without having extra pedals. The external tuner is fed from the volume pedal to free up a switch on the Stomp.

A big shout out to the Temple Audio guys for bringing some well made and thought out boards to the market. I'm loving it right now! I know it's not the cheapest pedalboard system but it there is something to be said for having a board that is clean, space efficient, pedals don't move in transit and can handle your power supply and inputs.

I have been so impressed, as have FOH at both my regular church, this week, and the one that I fill in at, last week. I am impressed with how quiet, clean and functional it is. I'm still on the learning curve, but I was able to do what I wanted.

Good morning all: I'm needing to buy a preamp pedal. Church just went ampless, my beloved Epifani cab & GK Legacy 800 came home last week. I originally though the GK Plex since I do love their amps, but after watching a Sweetwater video review & this guy cycling through a couple dozen modes by pressing the knobs, thought of trying to remember all of that turned me off.

I would like to keep this simple as possible. Cab sim sounds like this would be good thing to have. My initial thoughts are Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 or the Two Notes Revolt.

The B7K seems to get lots of love around here & the Revolt is fairly new on the scene.

Thoughts ?

Depends on your price range. An Aguilar Tone Hammer DI, Mesa Subway DI, or Sansamp BDDI are great options that won't break the bank. If cost isn't a factor, I'd start looking at some of the high-end tube pre/DI's. I really like my Arkham Oracle.

Darkglass gets a lot of love on TB, I don't see it too much on Worship Boards, except for VMT. As stated earlier, "budget options" (if there really is such a thing) Tonehammer, Sansamp BDDI are pretty good bets to get that worship sound. If you have a particular tone you are going for then it opens up more possibilities and of course the budget. Arkham Oracle is a great option, digital stuff like HX Stomp if you want to go that route. Origin Effects recently (in the last year I think) put out a couple of pre-amp pedals that get great reviews too. Are you going to need a compressor too? Do you have any other pedals already? I spent a lot of time chasing an IEM tone that I was happy with.
