I love my pedals and board still but I haven't played out in 4 months. When I did, I only took my Zoom B1Four and no one cared. Lol... I mean, for P&W, the other bass players use a clip on tuner and plug in to DI/ Board. My P-bass sounds great but I want more than just that- I like to use drive when the OG did and chorus sometimes. I am sad to be considering going to just a MultiFX again. I know I could sell at a loss and still not have to come out of pocket but man, I think of all the time invested and am having a hard time seeing it as learning and experience and am thinking of it now as a waste. I guess I should wait until I can make that mental switch first.
It never hurts to wait...unless you need the cash (or declutter).
Also, backup! (just in case something goes kaflooey on a board or all-in-one unit)
It's all good learning. I try not to think of all my basses as a waste of time. I was learning what I really like. And now I have it.
I am sort of in de-clutter mode. Remodeling at home and still living in it- so when you pack a room up and move back in it a few weeks later, you really see all your STUFF.
But yeah, I spent good money on supplies from West Coast PB and built a board with power, power toggle and 1/4 in and out. so I may just re-do and tinker but man, it's just alot and I'm probably just bored.

did you get the Judy on the that first drop of 6 or on the secondary? I know he sold out in like 40 seconds.
Yep! First drop. #4 of 6. Its a killer bass Rat essentially. I really like it in both modes (normal and turbo)
just curious: why two compressors ? I see the excellent PC2A, and the empress…

In short, the PC-2A ran into the Empress is absolute BLISS!
Neither of them are set with as much compression as I would use if only using a standalone, so it's additive in nature, but I get the qualities of both.... Tube tone and fatness from the PC-2A & the magic of the Empress and it's Color circuit.
It also produces a 'feel' that's difficult to explain but is simply fantastic. It just makes playing absolutely effortless & quite a delight.
I enjoy the combo so much that I picked up another PC-2A and Empress for my bigger board & sold the Cali76 CB that until that point had been my end-all-be-all compressor. It's quite the demand on board space, so I had to make a tough decision on which other pedal had to be displaced to accommodate, but in the end what this combo brings to the table is worth the sacrifice.
24-24°F at load-in tomorrow and 28-29°F at load-out. Taking the bare minimum - no pedalboard, one Rumble 100, one bass, case with stands, etc. And a cajon for someone. Minimum trips in the cold.
Hi all. Been a while. I was recently consolidating things into an HX Effects. Not a hugely onerous job but I wish I had found the pedal train app before resorting to physically experimenting with configuration and spacing.

This morning: load-in, immediately get the message church is canceled because precipitation has started (it was 23°F), load out. Home a half hour after we left. Wheee!
so far the power grid is intact and faucets are still dripping so I am content.
