I hope they keep the stying of the older stuff, not sure I like the post Korg makeover that some of the pedals have already had.

Indeed, buyouts are always kinda scary. Will be interesting to see what Korg does with Darkglass as well.

If memory serves me correctly the Pedal predates the head. So essentially the separate Drive knob was a feature added to the head.

The AGS engaged on the pedal is the equivalent of having the Drive knob on the Tone Hammer head turned to 3 o'clock. It will be interesting to see if Aguilar releases any updated models of stuff soon. Or what their future releases will look like.

The tone hammer 350 does nicely as a kind of floor DI because it’s so small and you don’t need a speaker load.

Let's just say from experience with Korg, if you own anything they're the parent company for, pray you never need a repair. They wanted over $200 (+ shipping both ways) to replace a failed diode in an Aguilar Octamizer last October.

Needless to say, my then 3 year old received an Octamizer for Christmas to add to his pedalboard.

I also subsequently divested myself of almost all pedals from companies Korg is the parent company of. If it weren't for the fact that the Element is my absolute favorite the four I own would be gone too.

It's a great pedal. The Octamizer is my favorite mass market Octave & I'm particularly fond of the V2 enclosure.

I sold everything off out of principle, not because the products are necessarily prone to failure.

To be honest if I have to contact customer support for a product it’s already likely that the product isn’t working for me. I’d rather have a product that works than awesome customer service to fix it lol

Do you happen to know if the THDI has built in HPF?

I don’t, but I’m also not seeing any mention in a cursory Google search. I only really found out about the Subway having it when I was researching adding a HPF to my board - Mesa listed it in the manual. I am not seeing the same for the Tone Hammer DI, unfortunately.

If any of yall are interested in a Capo, I have one being delivered in a week or two that I wont be using (Jad Freer said mid may). I ordered mine from Jad Freer at the beginning of April. When FatBassTone got a batch in, I ordered from there and planned on cancelling the order with Jad Freer. For some reason, if I canceled with Jad, I lost the PayPal fees from the transaction, plus there would prob be an additional deficit due to the ever changing daily exchange rate. So I figured I'd just keep the order active and sell it for what I have in it. I heard Jad is at an eight week wait now. Shoot me a message if you're interested.

I listed the Science Mother for sale if anyone is interested. I like it more as an overdrive than a preamp, but it would be a large overdrive for my board.

Made some significant changes… I went from a Metro20 with a Khan on the end to this…
Nano+ with the new, smaller Oracle on the end. My DC7 is underneath, with the Crux chained to send power to the Oracle. This allows me to run the whole pedalboard with a singular IEC cable. The Cali76 bass compressor is also fantastic! I’m really digging this setup. My Khan will likely find its way to the classifieds soon.

I’m thinking about some changes to my board too. Some are in the works. Some are in my head. Mostly because I’m sitting in a parking lot waiting for my son at basketball.

so on the nano, what does getting power to the dc7 look like. Is there a side adapter that attached to the nano

I just run the one IEC cable under the board, into the DC7. That powers the whole board.
