Hello all. I just got notified by Jad Freer that their Tim version of the CAPO saturator/preamp is available in a small batch of 55 units, if anyone is interested. I ordered one. The TIM version replaces the B-Side preamp with a stompable effects loop. This arrangement has more utility to me.

Well there goes another $600 I wasn't expecting to spend this week

Here was my setup from last Sunday. I put some silver knobs on the DCX to make it easier to see the markings.
The Cali settings are a bit off...the mix knob must have gotten bumped. It's usually lower. I just plugged in, it sounded good, and I went with it, not even noticing until afterwards.

I'm slowly warming up to the Stomp. The IMA signature preset into the Noble sounds really good. It does make a lot of sense to hook this up and roll with just the wireless-Stomp-Noble. But, at the same time, it also makes a lot of sense to just roll with the board I already have. I'm not a fan of the stock presets, but the IMA set is opening my eyes to what the Stomp can do. I may try his other collections and see how that goes. One minor problem is that my small board is too small for the wireless, Stomp and Noble. So, I'd have to go bigger. BUT--that might not be a bad thing because I could then put my Moog CV pedals on there as well.

In the Gladio/DCX battle, I keep going back and forth. There are pros and cons to each. I prefer the tone of the Gladio, but the DCX is more versatile and I can dial in a nice, full low end. I would be happy with either, but since I have both, I'm going to spend more time with them. If I keep the smaller board, then there is only room for one.

So far I've had two rehearsals with my new setup. This will be my first Sunday service with it. The plan is to have this totally replace my pedalboard if needed.

Hope it works for you. It's a super compact all in one solution for sure. I considered it. All the basics for most bass players. I have never been able to get a Tech21 to work for me.

Thanks. I gotta say that I was very frustrated with it for the first few days before I was able to get it sounding like me.

Here's a smaller setup for "other" gigs. Probably gonna use this for church as well. The subsonic is the best broughton pedal I've tried. It is a fantastic octaver. I can retire my rehoused oc2 now. Also the arkham oracle has some high pitch squeal and it drives me bonkers. Might need to replace the tube already.

I am possibly gonna remove the tone hammer on this smaller board and try some drive on the stomp. Experiment with amp models for drive or something. Try to simplify even more for this board. My "big" board is at the church setup for a plug and play. We only have one other bassist and he doesn't use anything.

My home church got new equipment, and hired a sound guy to set things up. I went in to set up my stuff today, so the paid sound guy can PEQ my bass with the pedals and presets I'm using tomorrow.

My tidy playing area tomorrow...

It's a bassboard with transducers (aka bass shakers) mounted on it. I have my bass and drum mix going into my bassboard through a sub-amp... so I can feel my bass and kick drum. It's an immersive way of playing with IEM's on a silent stage... which gives me the feeling like I'm playing loud... but at lower volume.

MikoFX, it is hard to describe.

I often hesitate to provide too much input since I am probably in a small church, and less skilled than many here. With that said, being on TB awhile, I have been down the preamp rabbit holes. I have used Sansamp, Tone hammer, Stomp, Broughton Messenger, SuperPre, Melvin Lee Davis, various Darkglass, and more.

The Punchline seems to feel the most amp like to me having a certain heft that others didn't for me and I like the drive tone.

At the end of the day it may just align with my style and gear.

I ignored the Punchline at first. The Beach Boys collab didn't interest me and for the price/size I am used to more features. However, some of the demos sounded good enough it sparked my curiosity. For me, tone wins out over the missing features.
