Honestly, I think you'd need 2 separate channels as they're 2 separate instruments. Any EQ or compression would be different and even the levels in gain would be vastly different.Question for those of you that use a Moog or other bass synth in addition to your bass guitar. How do you deal with the signal?
I would like to just give one output to make it easier. The two options I'm considering are just route it through the board (in the second HX One input) the pro is simplicity, con is that I'm not sure I would love the same Tonehammer tone for it. The other alternative is to use a DI and have some kind of pedal to switch between the two going into it like an LS2. What do you use?
Or just try to make your bass a faux synth with octave chorus and dirt. You can surprisingly cop those sounds and most wouldn't even know, only issue is if you had to switch between sounds during a song, it'd be a bit of a foot dance on the pedals.
