The newer version of the BMS. Yes, the trim pot is obvious once you take the back off. It made a big difference. I had to tweak it a couple of times to get it just right and now when I engage it's so smooth and just sounds full and pleasing. I wish I knew if the gain was before the octave circuits or the device's output. I suspect it's an input gain as the whole device sounded smoother and better once I got it tweaked to my bass.

There are parameters on the Moog that are controlled by voltage (CV). I have a small pedal board that I use to control the volume, filter sweep and to trigger a note. The best thing is, the pedals are passive so they don't need external power.
I use the volume CV like a mute when switching quickly between the Moog and bass. I let the note ring out, then grab my bass and cut the Moog on the downbeat when I come in with the bass. The trigger pedal will repeat the last note that I played on the Moog. So I can play the note both on my bass and synth. (Good for endings or to add some weight here and there). I don't use the filter CV too much. It basically doubles what I can do with the modulation wheel on the Moog.

Not sure how I missed this, but how long has the Tone Hammer v2 pedal been out? I saw it on Sweetwater today.

Can't find any demos yet though. Anyone know if it sounds the same as the famous original? Wasn't sure if the drive is a different flavor than the AGS or if it is basically an adjustable AGS which might lure me back in.

Very happy with my JHS Punchline, but wouldn't mind the smaller footprint.

I'm looking at putting something together. I'm currently using a Line 6 Helix LT, but the USB port is going out. I'd like to put something together to use as a backup and eventual replacement.

I like the LT a lot but its larger than I want to carry around for bass. I've been looking at several options. Darkglass Alpha/Omega Photon and Laney Digbeth are kind of my front runners.

I wanted to like the DarkGlass Infinity (comp, eq, drive) before I went Stomp, but I thought it was too much. Too aggressive. Maybe I didn't give it time. I do find I use the pitch Shift in my Stomp for a number of tunes so I don't need to swap basses and that's nice. If I didn't use that, I might try something else as I really don't use all the power of the Stomp. It's really for 3 effects and compression right now.
