Yup. Tuner, hx stomp and a line isolator/di on one board and a quad cortex and Dunlop x8 volume/pression pedal on the other board. I do still have the khan vtdi and a cali76 and a dcx bass not on a board…
I use the khan for recording stuff if the need arises. Live it doesn't make a big enough difference for me.
I also use a house board sometimes, it's got a cali76, microsynth, EBS octave pedal, darkglass distortion pedal, tonehammer and a neve rndi. So that's fun too.
The Stomp did great today. I didn't have any low end loss with the drives, but I still think I need to tweak them to get more dirt out of them. It sounds really driven through my headphones at home, but it doesn't translate in the sanctuary. But, I had the same issue with my analog pedals. Im not thrilled with the octave sounds…at least not the synthy octave sounds. But the Stomp will stay on the board for another service. I'm impressed with it.
It takes some dedication and time… but it can do it and do it well! I think I'll always have a stomp even though I usually go with the quad cortex
Yeah, I have a lot to learn with it. But, based on today, it seems like it's worth spending time learning it. I'm not giving up the analog pedals— it's nice to have good options.
This. It is worth perservering. I fought it for a bit but once you get used to it changes and programming become easier.
@projectapollo Didn't you use to have a ZeroFive Audio Lowrider Pultec on your board? If so, I haven't seen it lately. Is there a reason you're not using it any longer? Was thinking about getting one of those. One just popped up on Reverb.
I had a Low Rider that I recently sold. It was a great device. Nice, full lows without being too boomy. I moved on from it because, for my bass and board in my sanctuary, I just didn't think I needed to take up the board real estate.

I loved the thing. At home. Made headphone practice really nice. Live, its effect was not as impactful. So, with the space it took up, I demoted it. It's worth getting one and trying it since resale is easy! Having moved back (down) to an 18" board, I have to be really picky on space.
Today's 18" allocation. Swapped out the Kilt for an Octamizer because of one song. Small church but we played All Hail King Jesus so I got to use the Bass Microsynth on the final big bridge.
Yes. I didn't need a heavy drive today and the Octamizer has a very nice deep octave down. Otherwise I really like the HX bass octaver model. Tracks really well.

I have that larger Mono Board that I worked on all summer and love. But.... when I serve at the smaller churches, I feel self conscious walking in with a board bigger than the guitar players. So, I've been trying to go moderate and it makes me really think about redundancies. But since the pedal board cycle of life goes.... small goes to large, then back to small, then digital, then analog, then..... Moog, I guess.Thanks @NickyBass and @projectapollo for the feedback.

I promise this is the last update for a while. It has annoyed me for ages that I haven't been able to get my Super Pre on a board with eveything I want on there with it. I was playing around on pedal playground yesterday and had a light bulb moment. Thanks goodness for the chamfered corners of the GLXD. I need the SP on the front row for switch access, but the rear access for outputs is also needed. Wish I'd worked this out before grabbing the DCX. I love it, but this is a better solution for me. Digbeth Pre off the board also. Probs for the best, as I only had it on loan.
Switched some stuff in. Wanted a better octaver and the subsonic kills. Trying out the tubedrve to see how it performs. Love my B3K but with the tight fit the top jacks of the tubedrve kinda shades it.
they replaced the B1K (not quite getting the same tone as my B3K so I'll probably sell it) and also the Mr Black Octaves (not too bad but the subsonic is better)
