Worship Bass Pedalboards

Played my final day at my home church yesterday... playing at different churches the next 2 weeks. I didn't get my PCO invite for this Sunday yet, but I just took a peek... and we are opening with "Washed" also.... it's new to me and this church. I guess I should start running through songs too.

I am. I play it 90% clean when we do it. (I even slap the key bass sound that's in the cracks on the verse - everyone loves it)
What's the difference between a church and a night club? Just focus on your tone and playing.
Oscillator 1: sine, pitch -12
Oscillator 2: sine, pitch -12, detune 3-5 cents
Drive: just a tiny hint of drive before filter
Filter: low pass 400hz.
Happen to have any idea what stand you're using for the Moog?We both used our Messenger's for the first time today...
Sound guys and WL loved it today. I used it on a song (Forever YHWH) where I switched to bass... but held the 'E' on the Moog with the sustain pedal... while picking on the higher 'E' through my Subsonic pedal over driven. At the end of the song I switched back to the Moog. It felt great... and I felt comfortable playing it, but I really need to get more familiar with the Messenger. I'm sure it could have sounded a lot better if I had more time to play around with it and understand it more.
I bought this stand back in the 80's when I was using a Yamaha DX7 (Nord Stage of the 80's
). Closest model I could find on Amazon is this one..
I'm spending the day with my oldest son all day. at Disneyland tomorrow... and since I have rehearsals on Thursday, I'm running through the songs today.. Playing "Washed" for the first time, and is new for this church... at that's what I read on PCO saying "NEW SONG"... haha.. Fun song!!!!
Not using Moog this Sunday... but I have it still set up in my room. Pic of my practice sesh....

Yup... DIY version I've been using for like 4 years. I now have both my bass and Moog messenger going through it.

Kinda misses the point of this thread.
Just started playing Sundays after a long time gap playing in public due to crushing confidence issues, but really enjoyed it tbh. We changed churches a few years ago and I've finally got back to playing. Both the drummers I spoke to had the same issue as me, took them a while to regain confidence too. Playing in a 3-week rota so next week. Just got an ME-90B, atm playing pretty clean for now but discovered Ampeg have a set of their own IRs that work great, including an SVT DI out that sounds awesome! Leaving the big board at home for now but might sneak the EH Mono Synth in just for fun. Might throw in a bit of drive next week, depends on what we're playing, the guy heading our team is up for experimenting!
I kind of approach it the same as I would for a "metal bass pedalboards" thread or a "funk bass pedalboards" thread. There are certain effects, like the Bass Micro Synth that are all over modern worship songs. But, the BMS doesn't pop up as much in other threads. Just as, filters are discussed here, but probably not to the extent that they are discussed in funk threads, etc.
A lot of us are playing the same songs and it's nice to be able to discuss how we are achieving certain tones all in one place.
Plus, I've made some good friendships in this thread. I hope my posts help in some way, but it's also nice for the community aspect.

One piece of gear I will never sell. And in a big church PA, that will make you *very* happy!
Trying to find a case for it that's not $300 is maddening
1--> 2024 Triumph Speed 400
2--> 2007 Triumph Bonneville Black that is such a cold starter that the little Speed 400 gets the daily usage these days
Those Indian bobbers look dope. I have a buddy that works at an Indian dealership on the other side of the river in Washington, and I need to check those out.
The Sub Phatty is what we have as the house sub synths at all of our campuses. I bought one myself to build patches at home and I love these. They are so simple, take up minimal space and get the job done. I bought the Moog gig bag which protects mine well enough and doesn't run $300 FWIW
I am not seeing the gig bag available anywhere. The one for sub 37 shows up but nothing for phatty/25.
