Worst band name you have ever heard.

I once wanted to call a band "Montezuma's Revenge" but I was voted down. Probably a good thing.....

There really was a band called 'Montezuma's Revenge' in San Diego in the late '80's-'90's. Country/rock quintet that was rude, funny, and put on a great live show. Then after all the messing around, they could play their asses off. Went to high school with 2 of the members.

Their music publishing company was named Breakwind Music. Yes, they took it as far as it would go...

I used to play with a drummer (of course) who was in a band called, ready? Mass Eruption!:roflmao: (Mass was the old abbreviation for Massachusetts), I laugh every time I think of it. Anytime I'm in a new band situation and we start tossing around names I pull it just to get a reaction and it gets plenty. Got any really bad band names that can rival that one? I shudder as I await your bad names.

once I volunteered for a last minute start up Band with a buddy who got a gig at a local Harley davidson dealer opening. it was the middle of summer. my buddy is a little overweight and he kept complaining about how hot it was getting in our rehearsal space/storage unit! he kept saying.. "Heat is the curse of the fatman!"
So after our first set of 3. the dealer wanted to introduce the band over the PA system. to the customers on the lot. we had to come up with name on the spot! we all looked blankly at each other in shock! my buddy was a sweaty mess & started to panic! I quickly said "the curse of the fatman!" we all chuckled. the dealer misheard, and saw us laughing then announced Chris & the Fatman band! Hah! we all busted up again. We did a great job, anyway, & rocked that lot! I was worried someone would want to book us in the future. i think that name killed any future business though, thank god! we reconvened late that year under a new name but, i'll always remember being a member of Chris & the fatman band! "classic flub"!

Sly Boyz - Boston area band circa 1990. It's the "z" that put me over the edge. There was also a local band called IROKK...?????? More widely known bands with lame names "Audioslave" and "Limp Bizkit" the latter of which I assumed has already been mentioned but I am too lazy to check. Honorable mention to my own band "Primördial Dwarf"

There were several Boston bands with Z instead of S IIRC, don't ask me why.
