Whats that supposed to mean?Pics? I could take these threads more seriously if your profile pic didn't pop up with each of them.
This.Since the screw holes for the bridge are drilled by CNC, it is almost impossible to be out of place. I suspect that you neck is a bit off kilter since there is room for movement there. For the truss rod issue, send it back, but the neck alignment happens with $4000 CS basses. Back off the neck screws a tiny bit, pull the neck into line, and retighten.
I'm sorry it was a backhanded comment about it being hard to take someone seriously who has a profile picture of them exhaling cigarette smoke.Whats that supposed to mean?
We were talking Squier. MIA basses are built on 80 year old homemade tools.Normally I would agree with this statement, but personal experience prevents me from doing so.
I had a MIA P bass that had a factory installed bridge that was crooked and the string through body holes were out of alignment as well. Some careful measurements revealed the bridge was on center, just rotated out of alignment by a solid 1/4", so the E string side was too far and the G string side was too close. The through body string holes on the back were crooked too, to match the crooked bridge. Sent the bass back and just asked for a refund.
Yeah I learned that lesson but I'd never be able to read with migraine in full swing. I've learned to keep it shut unless it's positive reenforcment. I got warned once for commenting...I'm sorry it was a backhanded comment about it being hard to take someone seriously who has a profile picture of them exhaling cigarette smoke.
Anyway I was in a bad mood with a migraine and shouldn't have posted it.
