Worst bass for metal?

Les Claypool uses a Carl Thompson. Primus is weird, but much of their work I think definitely qualifies as metal.

And for the win...this is the worst bass for metal -

The basses they sell at Walmart would be a contender for worst bass for metal. Actually, I think they might just be the worst bass for any style.

I'm just thinking an 8 or 12 string bass. I don't see the metal in harmonizing strings. I can however see the metal in bleeding fingers by the end of the show trying to hold all those strings down.
