Not only the worst for metal, probably the worst overall.

The guys in testament and mastodon use or used first act customs. But the Walmart stuff isn't great.

The tuba IS heavy metal!!

The tuba is commonly used in the best heavy metal groups like the Empire Brass, and the Canadian Brass.

Probably the best heavy metal concert I attended was at San Marco, Venice, where an Italian heavy metal group played a set of Monteverdi and Gabreili pieces.

Don't know what the worst bass for metal is, but I'm sure it could be improved by adding flats & a tort pickguard....
