Worst neck dive

I had an Alembic Series I "Point" model bass that had a SERIOUS case of neck dive. It was also about a 12 pound bass. Luckily, I was a young buck back then and could roll with it. Now? ... Faggedaboudit ... I'd have to be put in traction after a gig with that bad boy.
I tried a Series I once many years ago. Very heavy as stated, and the worst case of neck dive I have ever seen. I played 2 tunes on it, and handed it back. Not for me.

I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to neck dive but the 2010 Epiphone Les Paul Special bass I used to own was so bad not even a wide neoprene strap could keep that headstock from wanting to kiss the pavement. IIRC that was the only bass I let go of specifically because of the neck dive.

Thankfully my current Epiphone Les Paul bass has been the complete opposite experience. It's a 2004 Epiphone Les Paul Standard bass.
