Worst neck dive

Worst in my experience, which is all I can say, really. Nope not being facetious.

Ok, well... all I can say is that I'm a T-bird player since '74 and have experienced much worse. Never wanted to own any of those - but still own/play my '64 Thinderbird II.

I guess my 3-bolt ASAT is an outlier as even the chinciest of straps keeps it well balanced, standing or sitting. My G&L JB Trib is significantly worse, albeit perfectly manageable with a decent strap. My Bacchus jazz bass is also considerably neck divier, as was my Affinity jazz. Guess I got lucky.

I remember trying a 5 string Warwick Streamer LX circa 1999-2000. I had tried a 4 string Thumb in the store, and had pretty much made up my mind to get a 5 string (that needed to be ordered), so I tried the Streamer LX to get an idea of the neck profile. I reckon the body must have been made out of balsa wood! As soon as I put in on a strap, the headstock nearly hit the deck.

headstock is like nine inches long... even w/the tinier grover tuners: BIG DIVE! you should've seen the size of the muscle on my port-side's hand just south of the pinky - it got HUGE when I was working this live! now it's a sit-down sitch w/it for recording... I've used short-scales for gigs 'pert-near always since 1998.

(HUGE respect to @godofthunder59 for both the pickguard and the bridge!)

What bass have you played that had the worst neck dive? For me, it was my Epiphone EB-3. I couldn't let go of the neck for a millisecond before the headstock did a kamakazi attack on the floor.

My pleasure my bird brother! They do dive like a Stuka but I'm so used to it I don't notice ;) they're long mothers but I have gibbon like arms and can even reach the G tuner lol.

I had a Spector NS-JH5 that had a super light weight flame maple body, but the neck was still the massive 35" scale 3 piece maple neck bolted on. so any time I let go of the neck it dove straight down unless I wore the strap a certain way. Mind you, I'm short so the headstock would only be like 3 inches from the ground when it dove.
