I refuse to watch any of the Complete stuff ever again. It was bad a year ago, I'm sure its still terrible.

More to the point, BtA isn't really what I'm into, I'd much rather listen to DEP.

Although, I do remember playing it a little better than that. The first song I learned on bass was the Manson cover of I put a spell on you.

Why is Behold... The Arctopus so hated, and yet a few years ago Dillinger Escape Plan was the greatest thing since buttered biscuits? It's just avant-garde prog metal, it's not for everyone, but why people think they are the worst band ever is beyond me.

I'm with you Matt. I think it has to do with so many of the lines in that piece being harmonized up a half step. People hear a harmony like that and assume the player is making a mistake. The crazy start/stop phrasing probably isn't helping much either.

I don't listen to much Prog any more, but I never assumed anyone would think that band is supposed to be bad.
