I saw that and it's confusing. You could just buy any bass and put a print-out graphic on it.
Come to think of it, maybe my red American Special could use some palm trees or a Nagel print.

Even if that thing were cheaper than a MIM P-bass I wouldn't buy it. I guess I'm not secure enough to be seen with it.
I would not spend my money on that. I would play it though, if I owned it somehow. I think the lighthouse ruins an otherwise beautiful concept.
Only good for a Jimmy Buffet band. For me? No.

I’d pay $200 for that, provided they refinished first it with a decent finish.
It’s been listed for some time now. I’m sure it’s a nice bass and it might even be worth 7K, but I think the most value is related to the store re-opening for which it was created. With a strong pull for that event, not I, it will be worth it to someone. FWIW, I think it was originally listed for much more. Now it’s in line with the other masterbuilt instruments. I didn’t feel the need to start a beach boys cover band, so I wasn’t interested, but I do wish I’d pulled the trigger on the John Cruz masterbuilt P in Gretsch Orange a year or so ago. It was slightly more, but I bet I could have negotiated a better deal.
