Hiding in the comet's tail
I just saw this on Reverb!
Nearly $10,000.00!
Specimen Products Luddite Six String Bass 2017 Natural Macassar Ebony and Mahogany

Although I like the Macassar ebony top, this bass is MEH!!

There's no cutout for upper register playing!
Skip the whammy and put on some Hipshot detuners?
Nope!
Still not coming home with me!

I could have a Stradi Symphony fretless and an N/S Stick for less that price!!!
Pass.

Not even at $500.

That being said, I don't even see quality and craftsmanship warranting that kind of price. At least with Ritter and others you can see obvious craftsmanship. This is a Les Paul ukulele on steroids with one pickup and a volume and tone?

My uncle was a pretty good wood worker. He could have made that thing without blinking.
