I would not want this as my only bass, to be sure, and I thought I would buy it as a bit of a gag. But yes, it is actually made fairly well (price point considered, of course), and definitely playable. The tone is not bad, either. It needs a setup, and some foam under the pickup, but other than getting weird looks from the crowd (which was in part my goal ), it's probably a giggable bass (within reason, and within limits - it's not gonna sound like a Sadowsky, Skjold, or MTD, mind you!).

Looking at that listing, the bass I bought is a little different. There is no logo on the headstock, and I am fairly certain that mine is a 34" scale instrument.
