Oh boy... I like Tubescreamers on bass... I've been missing my Bad Monkey since I replaced it with the Hematoma (I know, I know, the Hema is technically a TS clone as well, but it seems to have a much different character), plus I'm always wanting something a bit fuzzier than my current setup will allow. I do believe I'm going to have to pick one of these suckers up.
In all seriousness, I have no idea. I guess that's how Preston decided to build it.

Can you run a fuzz [a lot of fuzz] into it without the signal getting thin and sputtery?

Please clarify... are you asking if you can run another fuzz pedal BEFORE the battering ram?

I will try it with various fuzzes and distortions feeding into it.
