Overdrive + Fuzz for guitar and bass.

Stomp on the OVERDRIVE switch and you turn the pedal on and activate the overdrive section. It's a smooth overdrive which can go from completely clean to growling distortion.
The LO switch adds in the lower frequencies to make it full-range for bass as well as guitar.
The HI knob lets you either boost or cut the highs to dial in the tone you want.

Stomp on the FUZZ switch and the fuzz section gets added on top of the overdrive sound. This is a parallel processed pedal which means the fuzz section works from the clean guitar signal and gets mixed with the overdrive instead of one section following the other like in most 2 stage pedals.
The fuzz is a snarling, raspy beast which can get right out of control if you crank up the SUSTAIN. The deep lows are filtered out to keep it tight and bright. The TONE control goes from high-end cut to flat to a mid-cut, high end boost. And for another set of sounds there is the OCT switch to change the fuzz section into an octave up fuzz. Crazy.

This pedal can be used in a number of ways. Have the overdrive on all the time for your basic tone and stomp on the fuzz for that important bridge, chorus or solo. Or use both sections to shape your distortion sound. Use the overdrive for the lower frequencies to keep the growl without getting muddy and use the fuzz for the searing top end. Or keep the overdrive section tame and use the fuzz section with the octave switch on to add that one bit of octave up. It's got a level knob, drive control, a high end knob and a low end switch. Stomp on the fuzz switch and you get the fuzz section added in. It's got it's own level control, gain, octave switch and a tone control I developed which goes from high-end cut to flat to a mid-cut, high end boost. It'll work for guitar and bass, mostly due to that low-end switch in the overdrive section which switches from full-range to a boosted mid and high setting. Coming very soon.
 
I like how it blends the two effects instead of running them inro each other.
If the overdrive retains good lows this could be awesome.
I use an OD, Fuzz and Blender for this. If I can find something like this that has good sounds it could be a godsend.
Now grygrx, you need to buy and review :D
 
If I could offer up a few insights on my new design:

It doesn't have a blend because the overdrive section with the LO switch on retains the complete range of a bass and with the drive of the overdrive section in the lower half of its range there is enough clean signal to not need a clean blend.
The overdrive and fuzz sections each have their own level control instead of a blend between them and a master volume.

sweet. thanks for the explanation. your pedals have some of the best aesthetic and "vibe" i've seen. OD and fuzz should look as sinister as they sound. i've yet to own one, hopefully this will be the first. i really want to get rid of my boss ODB for good, and the high freq knob looks promising.
 
Looks very cool! Very tempting... Would the fuzz section happen to be related to the Foxx Tone Machine? It has the same controls, which is why I ask. So far as I know the Foxx Tone Machine has the reverse ground of most pedals; does this pedal have a reverse ground or is it friendly with a non-isolated output daisy chain?
