Eh, live by the snake, die by the snake.
Interesting conversation at the pearly gates:
Jamie Coots: Why didn't you save me, God?
God: I sent you a freakin' ambulance, what more did you want? Sheesh!
I dunno. You sure that conversation is taking place at the pearly gates?
Just asking.
so what went wrong? was he lacking belief? did he misread 'serpents' as 'venomous serpents'? because he was bitten instead of drinking the deadly thing, i.e. poison?
what will the true believers say?
It might go something like this:
"Do not put the Lord your God to the test,..." Deuteronomy 6:16
Jesus said unto him, It is written again: Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Matthew 4:7
well now that's a vicious circle.
Not another one. You'd think these folks would have worked out how this goes by now.![]()

I'll have to remember this one!A fellow was undecided what he should do with his life. Suddenly a light bulb went off; he'd get his answer from the Good Book. So he shuts his eyes, randomly opens it, and sticks his finger on the page. He opens his eyes and his finger is pointing to the words: "And Judas went and hanged himself". Hmmm, he thinks, how interesting. So he tries again. He closes his eyes, opens to another page, sticks his finger down, opens his eyes, and reads; "Go thou and do likewise"
