However, the one Jake Kot is holding just leaves me cold. That sunburst just makes the whole bass.

I agree 100%! Sunburst gives any instrument a TLC look, IMHO.

Make that fretless, and I'm home.

Man! I love LOVE your Brownish Hollow body!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm interested in the Fretless! Have you got any pics of it on its own (The brown Hollow) ??? All it needs now is a curly maple pickguard !!!!!!!!!!!! Hehehe I love the ones with pickguards. They just top it off! They don't suit every bass though. What are the specs of your Brown Hollow

I LOVE the modified upper horn on this one. Looks like it gets "OH-SO-CLOSE" to the fretboard A-LA Ken Lawrences Brase Design, then pulls away at the last minute... pure artwork.

I get all squishy over that Flying V 7 too. Strap that on some huge guy and it'll look just like a guitar!!

That 6 swirl made me feel things I haven't felt since before I was married but I like the color combination on this one just a smidgen better,

but the more I look at the 6 the more I rethink that, I really like the extended (3 octave?) lower cut and no pickups look.

I've got two MP3's of Lord Only's "Fear and Trembling" CD. It's really, really intense, the bass is awesome (the range is very well used) and it's easily one of the first times I've ever heard an ERB not used for jazz, and definitely the first time I've heard it used so well. I'd love to pick up the actual CD, but my parents are really skeptical about buying anything online :/.
