Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian - clean blend mod

Matt from Wren & Cuff (from an email conversation):

For the Russian, I actually prefer NO blend. It seems to really like the bass signal better with nothing between the input and circuit. The blend is buffered (has to be) and can slightly alter the tone making a more "hi fi" sound. With the Russian, a more raw tone sounds better IMO. People do like it with a blend though, but most who have followed my advice love the result.

I thought it sounded fine at 100% wet, just weird set anywhere else due to suspected phase issues. I tried it at the time in my Xotic X-Blender and it sounded much better.

Mine arrived today. I can see how the blend isn't needed. I'd probably be happy without it. However, I am seeing potential for it. I don't know that it could sound much "better" without the blend signal path. Maybe a little, but I'm pretty happy with it in there.
