I had a break this weekend. Next weekend the Lucky7's will be doing a full show at Almost Famous In Livermore CA.
It's a no-amps-on-stage gig and I'll be using these (Lull M4V and Roscoe Beck IV) ......

Into this ... out to the venues significant, and well run house PA

Fender makes such a bass?

Hello - yes, although mine is a custom color I had refinished. They make a Junior Collection Jazz Bass in Japan and it appears to be sold only in Japan and Australia. I ordered mine to the US via eBay. There are a few threads here on TB about them, and a "club", of which I am a member. I learned a lot and basically made my decision on the bass via that "club" thread.

It is the 5th short-scale bass I have owned since October 2020, and it is the best of those, and so it should be the last. I'm hoping to keep it for many years. Feel free to find the "club" or message me for any questions.

That’s funny. My guitar player brought a red Nash Tele because it looked festive, but ended up playing the same PRS he always plays. All that glitters…

Different gig, same rig, but this time w/ the evil twins.

We'll be having a kind of reunion gig to celebrate an album we made back in 1980. Half the band has now passed on, but we found some great replacements, who are fans and know the songs. I'll be playing my Ovation Magnum I - not the very same one as on the record, but still. The new guys were amazed, as they'd only seen a Magnum in, like, pictures of Jah Wobble.
