I have a very nice violin I am looking to trade for an upright bass-
my violin:
1963 Gustav August Ficker
Sarasate Stradivarius Model
imported for William Lewis and Sons, Chicago
It's in fantastic condition... there are no cracks. It has been recently professionally set up and is ready to play. My wife is a violin teacher and has been using it for a few months, so it's been played and it sounds nice and open. I've been told it's worth anywhere between $2000 and $3500. It comes with a case and a bow.

I'm not terribly picky about the bass... an old beater would be fine. 3/4 or 1/2 size. Minor repairs or set-up needed would be okay too. I'm in the Tacoma/ Seattle area.
