XBox 360 -- what game next?

Portal 2 is amazing. Like others, I am not a puzzle type of guy, but it really is one of the most humorous and mentally stimulating games I've ever played. I didn't play the first one.
Mass Effect 2 is one of the best games I've played. Highly recommended. The first one is good, but the second is better.
Batman Arkham Asylum is good fun. I wasn't as impressed as everyone else, but it's still a very good game. I'm sure the sequel will be much better, like Mass Effect.
Castlevania is a good adventure game too.
Bayonetta is ridiculous, but very entertaining.
Assassins Creed is a good series too. Might as well just pick up the newest one. They are all basically the same idea, but much more refined with AC:Brotherhood.
Mass Effect 2 is one of the best games I've played. Highly recommended. The first one is good, but the second is better.
Batman Arkham Asylum is good fun. I wasn't as impressed as everyone else, but it's still a very good game. I'm sure the sequel will be much better, like Mass Effect.

I haven't played ODST so I can't comment in regards to that, but I thought Halo Reach was the worst in the series. It wasn't a bad game, but I wouldn't spend more than $25 on it.

Agreed. ODST was just as bad by the way.
The ending was cool in Reach.
I'll still probably give ODST a try eventually. The idea behind it intrigued me, but if you already have enough trouble beating Elites and Brutes as a Spartan I could only imagine how hard it would be to beat them as a regular solider.
And yeah, the ending was really cool in Reach. I just wish it were possible to actually 'win'. I also think it would of been cool if they had put in a few flashback missions where you got to go through training exercises in the Spartan II program and perhaps even see Master Chief as a young man. YMMV.
Fable 2 is the lowlight in that series IMO
I think one was better, and the character creation was deeper. The story was a bit better too.
2 was a much better, and much more streamlined shooter. If you do all the side quests, it can be pretty deep too.
Probing will get old quick.
I'll jump in too as I was just given a 360 a little while back and I've been going game crazy:
L.A. Noir - I absolutely loved this game. This is my kind of perfect game. Totally different kind of gameplay - there are still shooting and driving bits - but you're really forced to pay attention if you want your line of questioning to be perfect. I found the game to be really imersive with incredible attention to detail - soundtrack is fantastic too. The facial animations are fantastic - it's a little hard to go back to anything that doesn't have the motion scan technology.
Red Dead Redemption - Another awesome game from rockstar! Loved this one too. Fantastic character driven story. Visually stunning - sometimes it's nice just to ride your horse across the open plains at different times of day/weather. Also a fantastic soundtrack. Apparently the online is great too. I haven't tried it yet - don't want to get addicted if I can help it.
Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare - This was a real pleasant surprise as I'm not a zombie/b-movie person. It was a funny side story. I highly recommend it if you play the original.
Mass Effect 2 - It took me a while to get in to it (maybe this is because I didn't play the first one) but about halfway through I was hooked and I'm definitely excited for the third this fall. I'm not much of an RPG guy, but the fact that there were so many choices to be made in the game as to how to proceed, makes me want to play it again.
Halo: Reach - My only Halo experience prior to this was some limited online play from the first game at a friend's house years ago. That being said I really enjoyed the game. The gameplay gets a little repetitive (but that's part of the territory with a FPS - not that there's anything wrong with that). I liked the story too (there are definitely a few stereotypical action movie turn-your-brain-off-moments) but it was neat watching their committed struggle for a futile goal. I'm trying to decide whether to go with Halo 3 or ODST next.
Right now I'm playing through Batman Arkham Asylum in anticipation of Arkham City. Gameplay is really good at making you feel like Batman. I was a fan of the animated series, so it's nice that most of the voice cast is back. Visually the game is quite nice (character models, environments...etc.), but it's hard to watch the in-game dialogue scenes after getting spoiled with LA Noire (obviously Arkham Asylum came out 2 years before it though).
Last weekend I picked up Bioshock 2 for $10, but I take it the consensus is I should definitely play Bioshock 1 first? Bioshock Infinite looks impressive at this point.
I definitely want to give Portal 2 a shot (waiting for the price to come down). I loved the first one.

Speaking of LA Noire, I'm almost done with the game and will be looking to sell it soon. If anyone wants to buy a game that's in mint condition hit me up and I'll sell it for cheap.
I started playing Portal2 last night. Oh man, that game is fun and addicting. We need a Portal3.
